The Projects page shows all projects you’ve been assigned to. You can view tasks, update progress, and tag your timesheet hours to specific tasks.
Viewing your projects
Go to Projects in the sidebar. You’ll see cards for every project you’re a member of, showing:
- Project name and code
- Status (Active, Completed, On Hold)
- Completion percentage
- Number of tasks and team members
Click any project card to open the detail view.
Working on tasks
Inside a project, you can see all tasks assigned to you.
To update a task:
- Click the task to open it
- Change the status (To Do → In Progress → Done)
- Add a comment with progress notes or questions
- Save
Tagging timesheet entries to projects
When adding a time log on the Timesheets page, you can link it to a project and task:
- Open a day’s entry panel
- In the time log form, click the Project / Task field
- Search for and select the task
- Save
This allows your manager to see exactly which projects your hours went toward, and it feeds into project reports and invoicing.
If you can’t find a task, ask your manager — you may not be assigned to it yet, or it may not exist.
What you can’t do
Employees can view and update tasks but cannot:
- Create new projects (Manager / Admin only)
- Add new tasks to a project (Manager / Admin only)
- Assign tasks to other people
If you need something added, ask your manager.
